Getting a lil bit serious: talking about art and its education

overall, ini cuma sekedar bahasan gue aja, ga ada maksud membela kepentingan siapa2, gue cuma nulis apa yang gue rasa doang. no offense for everyone, gue tau tulisan gue dibawah masih ngawur sana sini, sorry deh, hehe. gue minta maaf sebelumnya kalo ada yang merasa kesinggung sama tulisan gue ini, cuma ya itu tadi, gue disini ga ada maksud apa2 selain nulis what my heart told me.

Someway menurut gue, seni ga butuh titel. Malah bukan seni aja, segala sesuatu yang cenderung diukur dengan rasa, itu ga perlu dapet gelar ini itu buat jadi expert di bidang itu. Buat seni, personally di mata gue ga perlu jadi doktor seni buat jadi seniman jagoan. Gue bukannya anti fakultas seni, gue cuma mikir seni itu natural, ngalir sendiri. Oke, seni emang bisa dipelajarin, tapi bakat engga. Minat dan dedikasi juga penting, dan totalitas dan konsistensi berseni ini cuma bakal ada di orang2 yang emang udh gifted jiwa seninya. 

Argumen gue sih gini, lo liat aja sendiri musisi2 legendaris, sejenis Elvis Presley, ato di Indonesia Chrisye. Cari deh yg punya gelar PhD seni. Dapet? Jago deh lo kalo dapet, niat banget lo matahin argumen gue, hahaha. Gue sendiri punya temen yang sering menang best dummer kalo festival band, cuma begitu ulangan harian seni musik di sekolah jeblok. Ada juga yang asik banget kalo main gitar, giliran disuruh solmisasi pake gitar gurunya sampe ngamuk. Model begini jamak banget dimana2, iya ngga? Gue ngambil contoh musik soalnya gue ngerasa asumsi ketidakbutuhan titel gue ini paling nyata gue liat di seni ini, mungkin karna seni ini yang paling 'menguasai pasar' di lingkungan gue.

Seni yang lain juga sebenernya gitu. Misalnya, tanya deh sama kapten cheers di sekolah lo, belum tentu dia tau teorinya cheerleading itu sendiri tujuan dibikinnya buat apa. Malah, no offense nih ya, gue sering liat di film2 kapten cheers digambarin sebagai sosok yg ga tau apa2 selain cara cheerleading, hahaha, no offense, no offense ya. Banyak seniman yang nguasain teori2 seni kayak gitu by heart aja. Sebenernya ga cuma seniman aja sih. Pedagang misalnya, banyak tuh yg sukses dulu baru masuk sekolah bisnis(mungkin mau lebih sukses, ato ngejar 'pengakuan' resmi). Perdagangnya selama ini sukses gara2 insting bawaan orok. Pas masuk sekolah bisnis, ternyata teori2 yg diajarin itu selama ini udah dipraktekin duluan. Ato tentor bimbel yang ngajarnya lebih enak daripada guru2 yg bisa ngantongin izin ngajar, alias emang udah bawaanya jago ngajar. Demen banget gue sama orang2 tipe begini. Asik banget men, dilahirin built-in ilmu kayak gitu. Makanya di atas tadi gue nyebutin kalo bukan cuma seni aja sebenernya yang ga butuh titel.

Tapi disini gue mau fokus ngomongin soal seni aja dulu, soalnya dari sinilah asumsi ketidakbutuhan titel gue lahir. Gue ga mungkirin fakta kalo emang ada sarjana seni yang sukses dan bener2 brillian. They're very lucky then, they've got talent and they have the chance to get their talent be legally appreciated. Maksudnya, walaupun mereka lagi ga bikin karya, dengan gelar yang gelantungan di ujung nama mereka, orang juga bisa tau kalo mereka itu seniman ini lho, bisa bikin ini lho. Sayangnya, fakultas seni itu relatif ga murah dan minim beasiswa, terutama seni2 yang ga tergolong seni murni lagi dan berbau2 multimedia, misalnya fashion design, ato desain komunikasi visual. Padahal justru banyak seniman2 lahir - dan kadang justru mendapatkan bakat seninya, di tengah keterbatasan, termasuk keterbatasan finansial. Tapi keterbatasan finansial bukan barrier kalo lo emang cinta mati sama seni. Lo bisa jadi jagoan seni, walaupun otodidak doang. Dan karya lo tetep bisa bikin orang2 terpesona, lo tetep bisa diapresiasi dengan baik sebagai seniman.

Memang seni intinya cuma butuh diapresiasi, baik legal maupun engga. Cuma, soal pelegalan ini bisa jadi masalah pas saingan nyari kerjaan di perusahaan. Kalo penyanyi, penari, ato aktor mah lumayan ngga ganggu deh, soalnya sering diseleksi pake audisi. Lain, kalo kasusnya, misalnya lo desainer grafis berbakat jagoan, yahudlah pokoknya, yang ga punya duit kuliah di DKV (yg emang muahaal, minim beasiswa pula) trus lo apply di perusahaan, barengan sama ratusan, bahkan ribuan applicanta lain yang lulusan DKV universitas A,B,C,D,E....anything lah. Kebanyakan Hrd nya cuma liat lo lulusan mana, nilainya berapa, track record lo gimana. Okelah, kalo lo emang selama ini udah kerja profesional sama orang2, trus karya lo mereka pake dan merka akuin secara resmi, chance lo buat dilirik masih gede. Trus gimana kalo lo tipe pemalu yg cuma nyimpen karya lo sendiri, ato karya2 lo cuma nongol di galeri situs sosial, alias dipublish secara ga resmi&non-profit? Emang mau tuh para Hrd main ke situs lo trus liat2 gitu? Mengingat jumlah applicants yg biasanya banyak, emm..pesimis deh gue.

yah, dari gue sih solusinya cuma dari dua aspek, dari si Hrdnya yang mesti ngubah kriteria &sistem penerimaan employeenya, ngga lagi matok sama cv tapi juga harusnya liat satu2 hasil karya yg pernah dibikin applicantsnya...agak mustahil. Ato lo-nya yg dari awal harus aktif nyari link, ikutan lomba ini itu, pokoknya cari pengakuan resmi lah buat karya2 lo, bukan cuna sekedar pujian orang2, di-like banyak orang di facebook, ato nongol di search engine saking seringnya dipake orang.

Titel pendidikan seni, kadang emang ngefek banget ke masalah kerjaan, karena kriteria karyawan ideal seringkali diukur dari tingkat pendidikannya, bukan besar potensinya. Lo mesti punya 'seni' sendiri buat survive di dunia kerja kayak gini, otherwise you should remember that art actually is not made to provide profits, but to provide prosperity for the soul of its lover.

Pescetarian, the Best Diet in the World


This is one of my serious writing. Jadi, ceritanya gue jadi sampel penelitian Mr. Bachtiar, beliau bikin penelitian tentang ilmu writing di sekolah. Dari seisi sekolah, diambil 6 sampel dari angkatan gue. Nah para sampel ini diminta bikin analytical exposition, trus prosesnya ini yang didokumentasiin sama Beliau. Salting juga gue nulis direkam, hahaha, agak behave dikit lah jadinya, biasanya gue kalo nulis macem-macem posisinya, haha. Kita juga dikasih kuisioner sama ada interview singkat gitu.Mungkin later gue post the whole story about this research, but now, thanks to him, i drop by here again, haha. Have you ever try, even though only in a day, not to eat land animals and birds, but only sea foods and plants? That way of eating, is called pesecetarianism, which is the best way of eating in the world.  Eggs and dairy mostly not eaten by pescetarian, but some of them do eat those.
If you be a pescetarian that do not eat land animals, it means you do not eat red meats. Earlier studies have strongly linked the consumption of red meats to colon cancer, heart disease and even diabetes, owing to their high content of unhealthy omega6 fatty acids and alarming concentration of saturated fats. USCD School of Medicine recently published the fact that a non-human, cellular molecule is absorbed into human tissues as a result of eating red meat and milk products. That molecules name Neu5Gc. Antibodies formed by body as the immune response to Neu5Gc contribute to inflammatory processes in various diseases, that is why it could be primarily responsible for any specific disease. Neu5Gc is also reported found in human cancer tissues, although they are found in small amounts. This is how eating less red meat significantly reduce your risk to a lot of diseases.
Knowing these dangers, some people decide to cut out all meats from their dishes. These people called-and call themselves vegetarian. Vegetarianism, nowadays are really popular. Ever since celebrity does this kind of diet, there are more and more vegetarian in the world. Pescetarians often wrongly recognized as vegetarians, but in fact, Pescetarians are a lot healthier. If you decide to be a vegetarian, you’d better be prepared to manage the details of nutrition in any of your meal, in order to get all the nutrition that your body needs. You need a very keen understanding of protein and how to get the right quantity and quality you need.  Vegetarians use soya for the main source of protein, but a study conducted over a period of time shows that people who had soya for their only source of protein had their testosterone level dipped up to 75%. A pescetarian handled this fact by eating seafood to get the enough amounts of proteins. As a vegetarian, you also need double portion of iron, because plants only contains heme-iron, the kind of irons that slowly absorbed by human body, and they are also absorbed in lower amount than the iron found in meats. Therefore, some vegetarians end up suffering anemia, but pescetarian doesn’t, because seafood contains the same kind of iron found in meats. The adequate consumption of tuna, mackerel and salmon also can combat deficiency of vitamin D3.
Fish products do not have the same dangers as red meats; in fact it may help to prevent those dangers. Most types of fish contain large quantities of polyunsaturated omega3 fatty acids, which have been implicated in the treatment of everything, form disease to depression to attention deficit disorder. Omega3 fatty acid is only found in fish. In 2004, Food and Drugs Association declare that omega3 fatty acids can combat the risk of coronary heart disease. This shows how being a pescetarian can improve your health.
Pescetarian diet is very much similar to the way Japanese eat, who now enjoy the 1st lowest obesity rate in the developed world. They also could expect to live longer and anticipate on average of 75 years lived health and disability-free. They diet, just like Pescetarians, are include a lot of fish, plants, and what make their diet better is they serve smaller portions, eat mindfully and slowly, and they add some healthy options such as tofu and rice. But when these people start to adopt western-style diet, they will put on weight rapidly.

Being a pescetarian, is about taking as much benefits as vegetarian does, without losing the advantages of a meat-eater.
